Here at the University of York International Pathway College, we offer great services to students. My job is to ensure students have everything they need to succeed in their studies, and have an enjoyable, rewarding experience in the UK.

Pre-arrival support

Student support begins before you even arrive. Friendly staff will be available to walk you through the process of applying for a visa, and to answer any questions you may have. You’ll also receive a pre-arrival pack filled with useful information about your future studies and life in the UK.

At the airport

From the moment you get off the plane in the UK, everything will be done to make you feel welcome, safe and happy. The Student Support team can arrange for you to be picked up from the airport and taken to your accommodation, and the staff will make sure you have everything you need.

Once you have accepted your offer to study with us, you can book your airport transfers by filling in the form in the pre-arrival area.

Welcome Week

Welcome Week will give you an opportunity to meet your teachers, fellow students and the Pathway College staff before your classes start. The Student Support team will take you on a tour of the Pathway College and University facilities, and will be on hand to help you with everything from registering with a doctor to finding your local supermarket.

Social activities

The Pathway College staff will organise numerous events, trips and activities for you to enjoy. From fun-filled nights out in York to visits to the many nearby historic sites and landmarks, the social activities on offer will give you plenty of chances to make new friends.

Accommodation

The stylish, modern accommodation available to students is safe, fully equipped with modern conveniences, and located right on the University campus.
