Multi-Progression Pathway courses
If you’re unsure of where you want to go to university, a Multi-Progression Pathway (MPP) is a flexible type of bachelor’s degree preparation course. An MPP gives you the chance to apply to any UK university, and helps you to find the destination that best suits you.

MPW group of colleges
If you want a globally recognised qualification accepted by all UK universities, you can study A levels with Kaplan partner MPW. A levels allow you to apply to any suitable UK university. There are 30+ different subjects offered, as well as workshops and activities to help address the needs of international students. GCSEs are also available, which are internationally respected secondary-level qualifications that can help students progress to further education.
MPW also offers University Foundation courses, which are one-year programmes designed to improve your academic skills, subject knowledge and English language ability. These help equip international students with the skills needed for an undergraduate degree. Among these courses are the NCUK Foundation Year, which offers guaranteed progression to a member of the Northern Consortium of UK Universities (NCUK) when you pass.

Guaranteed progression to a UK university
The University Placement Service (UPS) acts as a safety net, giving you peace of mind when studying with Kaplan. If you pass your pathway course, but don’t quite meet the required results to progress to your university of choice, you are still guaranteed a place at a UK university.*
* when you pass your pathway course at the minimum required level and with good attendance
Network of universities
When you are accepted onto a pathway course, you’ll receive an offer of guaranteed admission to your chosen university as long as you obtain certain grades. Some students may pass their pathway course without achieving the grades that the university requires; UPS ensures they can still find a place at a UK university. UPS is linked to a wide network of universities, helping students to secure a suitable university place.
Part of the package
The University Placement Service is free of charge, and included as part of your pathway package at our UK pathway colleges.
We also offer UPS Clearing for students who miss their university application deadlines, don’t achieve the grades needed for their guaranteed or backup offers, or change their mind about accepting an offer. In these scenarios, you can still get a university place through UPS Clearing. Universities will be able to review your profile and make you an offer if you meet their requirements.
