Though Arizona State University’s teaching method has changed for the time being, its focus on international student support and inclusivity has not! While you study remotely with ASU, you can access full student services such as advising and tutoring, as well as virtual social activities to keep you linked up with the ASU community.

  • Get remote academic support

If you need help in or out of class, ASU is there for you. Get technical support around the clock through the ASU Experience Center, chat online with a librarian to find the right resources for your research paper, or sign up for an online tutoring session. You can also take a study break and join a live, 50-minute mindfulness and meditation session every day.

Students in the Intensive English Program also receive full student services support, including advising, tutoring and more. ASU’s virtual Welcome Desk also provides student support to international students in multiple languages.

  • Start building your career now

Starting your ASU studies online and later transitioning to campus will not affect your eligibility for Optional Practical Training (OPT).

All services provided by ASU’s Career and Professional Development Services are available virtually. You can:

    • talk with advisors during Zoom drop-in hours
    • attend career-focused webinars
    • watch how-to videos on building key professional skills
    • practice your interviewing skills anywhere, at anytime through InterviewStream, and receive valuable feedback from the career team
    • join a career interest community to get tailored insights from professionals
    • connect through ASU to an alumni mentor online.
  • Be part of the ASU community from anywhere

You don’t have to be on campus to connect with the ASU community. Recent activities have included:

    • online workouts
    • live trivia contests
    • game nights
    • cooking classes
    • remote student support groups

Students in the Intensive English or International Graduate Preparation programs can join the Global Launch Activities Team on Zoom to meet other students and staff in a fun, informal setting.

With more than 1,500 student clubs and organizations at ASU, you’re sure to find something that catches your interest!
