Kaplan Living Special Support

As part of our commitment to providing the best service and level of care for our students, the Kaplan Living Special Support service offers additional support to students at Kaplan Living Bournemouth from January 2021. This service is included in all accommodation packages for students under 18, covered by an additional £300 fee. You’ll benefit from access to Wellbeing Coordinators living in the residence who will be available 24/7 to support you by:

• answering any questions you may have prior to your arrival
• helping you settle into life in the UK
• organising any required self-isolation period
• assisting with making medical appointments
• handling any emergencies throughout the night
• arranging video calls with your parents
• encouraging you to engage in college and residence activities.

While this service is mandatory for students under the age of 18, it is also available to all other students as a fantastic extra layer of support for while they stay with us.

Building maintenance

During 2020/21 we will be conducting remedial works to the exterior of the Kaplan Living Bournemouth building. These works will include updating some of the external panelling. Works will only take place during normal operational hours to ensure there is minimal impact on residents living in the building and they will be suspended during important time periods such as weeks when exams take place. These works are required to ensure that the building meets new government standards on building safety.
